Seat Heating Element, Removing And Installing







1 - Seating area with heating element, attached to cushion foam
Removing:
- Remove seat.
- Remove seat cushion extension and also disconnect both harness connectors for seat cushion extension heating element.
- Pull cover off seating area.
- Disconnect harness connector - 2 - for seat heating element at green harness connector underneath seat.
- Remove harness connector - 3 - for seat heating wire.
- Release cable retainers at seat heating wire.
- Pull seat heating element from foam cushion.
Installing:
- Cut old heating element from wire.
- Stick new seat heating element onto old heating element without folding or creasing.
