Removing and Installing Seal Insert For Fuel Noozle

WARNING! Fire hazard! When working on the fuel system DO NOT smoke, work near heaters or have anything in the area that can ignite the fuel or fumes.

Removing and installing seal insert for filling station nozzle

Special tools, test equipment and auxiliary items

- 3322 Mandrel
- 3438 Hook

Removing





- Insert 3438 hook into left-inner hole of seal insert.

NOTE: If 3438 hook is not available, use a locally manufactured hook.

- Release both tabs (arrows) using thin screwdriver.
- Pull out insert using hook.

Installing
- Press in seal insert using 3322 mandrel until tabs engage. Installation position: tab slots are on top and bottom.
