Assembly overview





Tightening torque for all air lines on the Audi A6 is 2 Nm (9 inch lbs.).

2 - Air spring
3 - Connection-piece
4 - Screw and washer assembly, 5 Nm
5 - Stone impact protection plate
6 - Spring support
7 - Protective sleeve
8 - Stop buffer
9 - Clip
10 - Air line
^ Clip the air lines into markings provided for them.
11 - Connection - piece
12 - Shock absorber
13 - Hex bolt, 45 Nm
14 - Installation-cap
^ Only for factory installation, not used for repairs.
15 - Self-locking hex nut, 25 Nm
^ Loosening and tightening Fig. 1
^ Always replace after disassembly
16 - Top shock absorber mount
^ Remove installation cap.
