Service
The numbered memory buttons in the driver's door can be programmed to store three different seat positions for the driver's seat and outside mirrors.
To complete the process, remote keyless entry transmitter unit(s) must also be programmed to an individual seat memory button as follows:
- Switch Ignition ON.
- Stop button -A- must be in down position to program or for memory feature to function.
- Adjust seat and both outside mirrors to desired positions.
- Press and hold "Memory" button (arrow) on driver's door.
- At the same time, press numbered button -4- for at least one second.
^ Positions are now assigned to that particular button and stored in memory.
- Repeat procedure for buttons -2- and -3-.
Note:
Any new position assigned, cancels out the previously stored position for that seat position button.
- Switch ignition OFF and remove key.
Now program a remote keyless entry transmitter unit to a numbered button:
- Press and hold (seat position) button -1- and within 10 seconds, simultaneously press the unlocking button (arrow) on a transmitter unit (hold for at least 2 seconds before releasing both buttons).
^ The seat and mirror positions are now programmed to this transmitter unit.
Note:
Any time button -A- is in the down position and this remote transmitter unit is used to open the vehicle, the seat and mirror positions will automatically adjust to positions assigned to button -1-.
- Program additional transmitter units to buttons -2- and -3- as necessary.
