Windshield, Installing







- After performing preparatory work, cut tip off nozzle as shown.
- Dimension -a- = 12 mm (approx. 1/2 in.)
- Width of adhesive bead = 8 mm (approx. 5/16 in.)
- Arrow indicates direction of application

NOTE: The cross-section of the adhesive bead depends on the dimension of the opening in the nozzle tip and the rate of application.







- Apply adhesive sealing material around circumference of windshield as shown.
Spacing between center of adhesive bead and edge of windshield varies.
- Using two double suction cups, install windshield in windshield opening.

CAUTION: The window must be installed within 15 minutes for best adhesive results.

- Align windshield at sides.
Spacing between edge of windshield and roof frame must be 5.5 mm ± 0.5 mm (0.217 in. ± 0.019 in.).







- After allowing adhesive to cure, press drip rail - 1 - into securing clips - 2 - as far as stop.
- When pressing in drip rail, make sure sealing lip lies flat against windshield and does not slip behind edge of windshield.

Lateral clearance - a - to top of roof frame = 1 mm (0.039 in.).
- Secure window glass in position in windshield opening using adhesive tape during curing process.
