Seatback, Removing And Installing

- Remove front seat.

CAUTION:
- Note safety measures when working with airbag.
- For vehicles with side airbag note installation instructions for seat.







1 - Seatback cover
- Removing:
- Flip seat back and unhook retaining strips - 6 - and - 7 -.
- Pull cover - 5 - in direction of arrow from retaining clips.







- Stable textile adhesive strip - 3 - as protection.
- Using screwdriver pry out - 4 - under welting - 2 - and carefully.

NOTE:
- Only welting - 2 - can be pried out.
- Do not move under seatback cover with screwdriver or seat cover will pull out.

- Carefully loosen welting along total length.
- Remove screws - 8 -.
- Guide cover - 5 - out of seatback cover.

2 - Welting for seatback cover







3 - Textile adhesive band
- 2 parts
- Bond to protect seatback cover
4 - Screwdriver
5 - Cover
- 2 parts
- Held in seat rail with clips
- Guided in seatback cover and hooked in
6 - Restraining band
7 - Restraining band
8 - Bolt
- 3 Nm (27 in.lb.)
- 2 parts
