- Cross member plenum chamber
- Front sealing plate

Preparing new parts
- Make holes for punched rivets, 8.5 mm (0.33 in.).
- Match up new parts to body.
- Prepare flanges on body and new parts for welding.
- Install cross member.







- MIG weld cross member to left and right suspension strut mount, continuous seam.
- MIG plug-weld cross member to plenum chamber (as replacement for punched rivet).
- MIG weld cross member to plenum chamber, continuous seam.
- Position on sealing plate.







- MIG weld sealing plate to left and right suspension strut mount, continuous seam.
- MIG weld sealing plate to cross member, continuous seam.
