Condition

Dent in the D-pillar area may be caused by contraction of the insulating foam bonded to the outside sheet metal panel during the initial curing process.

- Heat area around dent (ususally noticeable in area shown). Hold heat gun approx. 50.8mm (2 in.) away from paint surface and apply heat using slow oscillating motion until panel reaches approx. 100°C (212°F).

^ Heat will cause the foam to release the panel and the dent will disappear.

CAUTION!
DO NOT overheat panel! Using a heat gun with too high a temperature will cause the paint to discolor.
