Solenoid Valve, Checking

Servotronic Solenoid Valve -N 119-, Checking

^ Open electronics box in passenger-side footwell.





^ Pull off Servotronic control module -J236-, position 12.
^ Set digital multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent) to ohm measuring range, maximum 200 ohms.
^ Take measurement at relay connector between contacts -2- and -5-.
Specified value: 6 - 12 ohms.

If specified value is not attained:
^ Pull connector off Servotronic valve.
^ Check wiring between relay connector and connector for Servotronic valve for short circuit and open circuit.
^ Replace Servotronic valve if wiring is OK
