Seat Cover And Padding For One-Piece Rear Backrest, Removing And Installing







1 - One-piece rear backrest
Removing:
- Remove one-piece rear backrest.
- Remove arm rest.
- Cut wire clips - 3 -.
- Cut wire clips - 5 - at bands - 2 -.
- Pull cover - 4 - forward.
- Lift cover - 4 - and cut wire clips - A -.
Installing:
- Use VAG1634 upholstery pliers to install new wire clamps.
- When installing, first clip cross bars, then longitudinal bars.
- When installing new cover, cut holes for headrest and armrest mounting.
- Push back bands - 2 - (2x) for each headrest cutout at corners.
- Secure bands - 2 - on back of cover using wire clips - 5 - (2 each).
- Cut bands - 2 - past wire clips - 5 - (at - B -).
