Connector Stations, Single/Multi-Pin Connectors
CAUTION!
Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap before working on the electrical system.
NOTE:
- Before disconnecting the battery, determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
- After reconnecting the battery, check and activate the vehicle's electrical equipment (radio, clock, comfort and convenience features, etc.)
- Illustration shows standard and optional equipment.
1 - Connector station, right
- Location: inside of A-pillar, bottom right
2 - Harness connector-ABS sensor, right-front
- Location: right-front footwell, next to heater blower
3 - Single-pin connector (red)-airbag
- Location: right side of instrument panel, behind cover
4 - Connector-radio/instrument panel wiring harness
- Location: transmission tunnel below center console
- Wrapped in foam tube
5 - Connector-door wiring, right-rear (window regulator and speaker)
- Location: clipped on center of B-pillar, behind rubber boot
6 - Connector-lock cylinder switch and anti-theft alarm
- Location: bracket on upper center of door panel
7 - Connector-ABS sensor, right-rear
- Location: ABS wiring harness, under rear seat, right side
8 - Connector-illuminated vanity mirror
- Location: behind interior light (center)
- Wrapped in foam tube
9 - Connector-lock cylinder switch and anti-theft alarm
- Location: inside of trunk lid (left)
- Wrapped in foam tube
10 - Connector-ABS sensor, left-rear
- Location: wiring harness under rear seat, left side
11 - Connector-door wiring, left-rear (window regulator and speaker)
- Location: clipped on center of B-pillar, behind rubber boot
12 - Connector-lock cylinder switch and anti-theft alarm
- Location: mounting bracket on upper center of door panel
13 - Connector station-engine wiring
- Location: electronics box (in plenum chamber), bottom
14 - Connector-ABS sensor, left-front
- Location: bottom of left footwell
15 - Relay panel with connector station
- Location: bottom of left footwell, front
16 - Connector station, left
- Location: inside of A-pillar, bottom left
17 - Harness connector-airbag spiral spring
- Location: clipped behind trim for steering column switches, top right
18 - Harness connector-horn slip ring
- Location: clipped behind trim for steering column switches, top right
19 - Connector station
With:
- Harness connector-outside air temperature sensor and A/C
- Harness connector-radiator coolant fan
- Harness connector-A/C refrigerant high-pressure switch Harness connector-A/C compressor clutch
- Harness connector-A/C compressor speed sensor
- Location: bracket near ABS hydraulic unit
20 - Harness connector-generator
- Location: secured with tie wrap to wiring harness above transmission
21 - Harness connector-back-up light switch
- Location: side of transmission with bracket
22 - Harness connector-heated windshield wiper nozzles
- Location: on hood vent (in reinforced areas on hood)
