Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) (Function 03)
Output Diagnostic Test Mode (function 03)
NOTE:
- Output Diagnostic Test Mode can only be performed with vehicle stationary and engine stopped.
- If Output Diagnostic Test Mode detects a fault, locate and eliminate cause of problem if necessary.
The following control elements are consecutively actuated in the test:
- Actuation of warning lamps next to locking knob on driver's/front passenger door
- Triggering of anti-theft alarm (no function)
- Actuation of wire for supplying power to ultrasonic sensors
- Actuation of wire for pulse signal to ultrasonic sensors
NOTE: This test cannot be used to trigger anti-theft alarm. To trigger anti-theft alarm, perform control element test by way of central locking control module or by checking operation. "Refer to Scan Tool Testing/Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) (Function 03)" Under "Locks/Power Locks", Testing and Inspection . Check Control Module Versions (Function 01)
