^ Lubricate all mountings and sliding surfaces with polycarbamide grease, Part No. G 052 142 A2.
^ Shift linkage, adjusting.

^ Carefully pry out catch at rear area of center console
^ Removing and installing
6. Nut, 8 Nm
7. Noise insulation cover
8. Nut, 10 Nm
9. Shift mechanism with shift mechanism housing
10. Boot
^ Carefully pull over shift rod when removing
^ When installing, place on markings of shift rod and pivot rod
11. Tensioning ring
12. Clamping piece
13. Socket head bolt, 25 Nm
14. Shift rod with shift joint
15. Bolt, 20 Nm
^ Self locking
^ Always replace
16. Socket head bolt, 40 Nm
^ Component of the shift rod front
17. Pivot rod
^ With bushing, bolt and washers
18. Washer
19. Socket- head bolt, 25 Nm
