Windshield, Removing And Installing







1 - Windshield
- Clearance to roof: dimension - b - = 5.5 mm ± 0.5 mm (0.216 in. ± 0.019 in.)
- Align lateral clearance according to dimension - h -.
2 - Adhesive bead
- Observe curing times.
Pay attention to different clearances from edge of windshield:
- Dimension -a- = 15 mm ± 2 mm (0.590 in. ± 0.079 in.)
- Dimension -g- = 8 mm ± 2 mm (0.315 in. ± 0.079 in.)
- Dimension -f- = 33 mm ± 2 mm (1.3 in. ± 0.079 in.)
3 - Adhesive bead
- Secures windshield surround
4 - Spacers
- Glue on (qty: 4) at equal distance from windshield flange
- Dimension -c- = 1 mm +1.5/-0 mm (0.039 in. +0.059/-0 in.)







5 - Spacers
- Glue on (qty: 5) at equal distances on windshield surround - 6 -
- Dimension-d-= 3 mm (0.118 in.)
- Dimension -e- = 3 mm +3/-0 mm (0.118 in. +0.118/-0in.)
6 - Windshield surround
- Supplied with replacement windshield
- To perform repairs, pull off windshield surround and remove adhesive - 3 - using glass scraper.
- Prime adhesive surface with DH 009 200 02.
- Press new windshield surround onto edge of windshield in center and secure again with adhesive DH 009 100 03 (small cartridge).
7 - Plenum chamber cover
- Allow window adhesive to cure before pressing into retaining strip.
