Power and Ground Distribution: Description and Operation

MAIN ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS AND PLUG CONNECTORS

WARNING! Before working on the electrical system disconnect the battery Ground strap.

NOTE:
- On vehicles with coded radio, obtain anti - theft code before disconnecting battery
- When the battery is reconnected, re - activate electrical equipment (radio, clock, electric windows, engine management)

Connector point on A - pillar





The connector point is under the floor covering in the left - hand footwell.
1 - Central locking (brown)
2 - Electric window lifter (red)
3 - Electric mirror adjustment (blue)
4 - Radio (green)

Connector point on A pillar (passenger's side)





The connector point is under the floor covering in the right - hand footwell.
1 - Central locking (brown)
2 - Electric window lifter (red)
3 - Electric mirror adjustment (blue)
4 - Radio (green)

Main fuse box





The main fuse box is in the engine compartment on top of the battery.
- Removing and installing.

NOTE: The contact layout is shown in the wiring diagram.
