NOTE: When installing a side airbag unit without protective tube - B -, retrofit module with a protective tube.

- Slide protective tube - B - onto side airbag cable at side airbag unit - 5 -. Marking - 1 - must be located at connector - 4 -.
- Unfold and secure protective tube - B - using adhesive strips - A -
- Remove white foil from chafe protection strip - C - and adhere chafe protection strip between markings - 2 - and - 3 -.
- Remove yellow foil and wrap around protective tube.
