Note: Lower vehicle until wheels touch ground.

With VAG1756 Torque Wrench and Protractor:
Tighten 12 - point nut to 300 Nm and back off 1/2 - turn.
Fully tighten 12 - point nut 50 Nm + 45°

Notes: VAG1756 torque wrench is recommended for tightening 12 - point nut.

Without VAG1756 Torque Wrench and Protractor:
Tighten 12 - point nut to 300 Nm and back off 1/2 - turn.
Tighten 12 - point nut to 50 Nm
