Section J - Setting Basic Settings For Steering Angle Sensor (G85) Sensor

NOTE:
This step is only required on vehicles with ESP (Identification: switch is located on dashboard) and if the front end alignment has been adjusted

The basic settings can be performed on the wheel alignment platform after front end alignment with the vehicle on its wheels

The steering wheel must be in the straight-ahead position during the basic setting and must not be turned while compensation is being performed

- Connect VAG 1551 or VAS 5051 if not already connected

- Switch ignition switch to the on position

- Indicated on display
