Bearing For Longitudinal Control Arm


Removing and installing

Special tools and equipment





- 3301 bearing
- 3346 Support arm bearing tool
- 3348/1 Front and rear bearing tool
- T 10030/2 Pipe

Removing
- First remove spring





- Remove bracket - 1 - for brake line from longitudinal control arm.





- Unclip brake line from bracket (arrows).
- Mark installation position of mounting bracket at mount.





- Remove mounting bracket from mount.





- Mark installation position of mounting bracket at longitudinal control arm (i.e. using felt - tip pen).
- Note arrows and dotted line

Removing bonded rubber bushing from longitudinal control arm





- Attach tools as shown in illustration
- Remove bonded rubber bushing by turning support arm bearing tool.

Installing bonded rubber bushing





- Attach tools as shown in illustration
- Install bonded rubber bushing by turning support arm bearing tool.

Installing longitudinal control arm
Remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.
