Front Door, Adjusting

NOTE: The rear door must be adjusted first if it has not already been adjusted.

Panel gap dimensions







- To adjust door, loosen door hinge screws on A-pillar and shift door (elongated screw holes on hinge).
a - 4 mm ± 0.5
b - 5 mm ± 0.5
c - 3.5 mm - 0.5/ + 1

Adjusting door flush with contour of body
- To adjust door, loosen door hinge screws and shift door (elongated screw holes on hinge).

NOTE: In rear portion of door, adjust via striker (door depth) Fig. 1.

- Remove bolts.
- Shift striker until door is flush with body.
- Tighten bolts.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft.lb)

NOTE: Door can only be adjusted for depth (toward car interior) and not for height.
