Inspecting Seat Belts


WARNING!
A systematic check of the seat belt system must be performed after every accident! If damage is found after checking check points, customer must be informed of the need to replace seat belt(s).


Inspection points:
- Check belt webbing
- Check automatic retraction (stop function)
- Visually check buckle
- Visually check buckle function
- Check guide stops and seat belt tongue
- Check attachment components and attachment points


NOTE: Make a note in the service records if the customer refuses to allow the replacement of the seat belt.
