Cover And Padding For Seating Area, Removing And Installing







NOTE: Illustration shows seating area from below without seat frame. Seat frame does not need to be removed.

1 - Seat shell
2 - Cover

Removing:
- Move seat fully up.
- Remove seat.
- Remove seat cushion.
- Place seat cushion so underside of seat shell - 1 - is easily accessible.
- If installed, disconnect seat heater wiring.
- Pull cover - 2 - out of seven insertion channels - 4 - located on outer edge of seat pan.
- Detach insertion strips for cover at insertion hooks - 5 - on seat shell.







- Pull cover - 2 - and cushion - 3 - (and if installed seat heater and/or seat-occupied sensor) from seat shell.
- Pull cover - 2 - off cushion - 3 -.

Installing:
- Place cushion on seating area.
- Pull insertion strips for cover through holes in cushion.
- Detach insertion strips at insertion hooks - 5 - on seat shell.
- Pull cover - 2 - completely over cushion - 3 -.
- Turn cover edge together with grip channels inward.
- Press grip channel on cover into seven insertion channels - 4 - of seat shell until they engage.
