Output Diagnostic Test Mode (Scan Tool Function 03)


NOTE:
- Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) can only be carried out on a stationary vehicle.
- Switch on low beam headlights!
- Trace any malfunctions identified by the output DTM and replace the malfunctioning part if necessary.


Output DTM can carry out the following system tests:
- Lower headlights
- Raise headlights

Initiating output DTM:
- Press buttons -0- and -3- to select "Output Diagnostic Test Mode" function 03.

- Press -Q- button to confirm input:
This will start the Output Diagnostic Test Mode for the headlight aim control.

Output Diagnostic Test Mode ->
Headlights being lowered


The headlights are lowered until the next function is called up or they reach the bottom position.
- Press -> button.

Indicated on display


Output Diagnostic Test Mode ->
Headlights being raised


The headlights are raised until the next function is called up or they reach the top position.
- Press -> button.

The scan tool returns to the "Select function" prompt.
