Window Regulator And Door Window, Removing And Installing







1 - Door component carrier
2 - Window

Removing:
- Remove door component carrier - 1 -.
- Run window regulator - 4 - all the way down.
- Remove bolts - 3 -.
- Unclip window and remove.

Installing/adjusting:
- Fasten securing clip - 3 -.

3 - Bolts (2x)
- 2.5 Nm (22 in.lb)







4 - Window regulator

Removing:
- Remove door component carrier - 1 -.
- Remove bolts - 3 -.
- Unclip window and remove.
- Drill heads off pop rivets - 5 -.
- Remove window regulator.

Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal.

5 - Pop rivets
- Install pop rivets in specific order: a, b, c, then d.
- Install pop rivets using special tool VAG1753B.
