Level Control System Filling

Level control system, filling

If the shock absorber, the air spring or the air line is replaced (or air pressure is released), the system must be filled anew.
Vehicle must not stand on wheels until the system has been filled (if a repair was performed on the spring system beforehand), otherwise the air spring may be damaged!
^ Raise vehicle (completely top out rear axle).
^ Make sure there are no folds in the air springs.
^ Fill air springs via On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
^ Check that there are no leaks in the system.
^ Make sure the installed air springs/suspension struts are correctly seated.
^ Lower vehicle.
If shock absorber, air spring, or air line is replaced (or if air pressure is released), basic setting must be performed.
