Check Control Module Versions (Scan Tool Function 01)

- Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select address word 03 "Brake Electronics".

Note: The following explanations refer to the use of the VAG1551 scan tool. A similar procedure is used for the VAS5051 tester for On Board Diagnostic.

- Advance through program sequence by pressing (arrow) button.





Indicated on display
- Press buttons -0- and -1- to select "Check Control Module Version" 01. Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Note: Refer to the parts supplier for the correct ABS control module -J104- for the vehicle.
