A/C Compressor From Mounting Bracket, Removing and Installing

A/C compressor from mounting bracket, removing and installing
- Remove noise insulation


CAUTION!
Mark travel direction of the ribbed belt before removing. Reversing direction could cause the belt to fail.






- Remove ribbed V-belt
- Remove bolts -A- and -B-.
- Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18 ft lb)


CAUTION!
Support compressor with wire or hooks after removing from bracket. DO NOT allow compressor to hang from A/C lines/hoses.


NOTE:
- Removing and installing the mounting bracket for compressor and power steering pump
- When installing the compressor, make sure that the two centering sleeves -C- are correctly located.






- When installing, make sure that wiring to A/C clutch -N25- is correctly routed.
- Before installing the ribbed V-belt, check that the belt pulleys are properly aligned
