Safety Precautions For Road Testing With Use of Test Equipment

To avoid personal injury and/or damage to electrical and electronic vehicle components, observe the following:
- Always connect or disconnect measuring or testing equipment with the ignition switched off.
- During a road test, always have measuring or test equipment operated by a second technician from the back seat. All occupants must wear seat belts. Equipment must be secured to avoid it from being dislodged in case of an accident.
- Check DTC memory again after completed repairs and erase DTC memory.
