Sensor for transmission RPM -G182-, replacing

Note:

- Do not use sensor that has been dropped (the permanent magnet will break if it is dropped).

Removing

^ Remove valve body.






^ Disconnect connector -A- from back of valve body.
^ Remove -G182- (-B-) from valve body.

Installing






^ Install -G182- (-1-) together with both spacer sleeves -2- (height: 8.7 mm or 0.34 inch).
^ Connect sensor connector.
^ Install valve body.

Note:

The side of the sensor with the connector terminals faces the center of the valve body.

^ Change or top off ATF after repair.
