^ Pay attention to the rules for cleanliness when performing work on the automatic transmission. Service and Repair
^ Refer to General Repair Instructions. Service and Repair
^ Coat sealing rings with Vaseline. Other types of lubricant lead to malfunctions in the hydraulic transmission control.

1 Torque converter
- Must be secured to prevent it from falling out when transmission is removed
- Code letters. Application and ID
- Inspecting. Testing and Inspection
2 Snap ring
- In front of sealing ring
- Replace if damaged
3 Sealing ring
- Replacing refer to Replacement. Torque Converter Sealing Ring, Replacing
4 Wavy washer
- Location: behind sealing ring
- Replace if damaged
