Upper C-pillar trim, removing and installing







1 - C-pillar trim

Removing
- On vehicles with children's bench Fig. 1.
- Pull down coat hook - 5 - and remove screw - 4 -.
- Remove screw - 3 - from front mount - 6 - for partition grill.
- Pull down flap - 8 - on roof grab handle - 7 - at groove - 9 -.
Roof grab handle can be secured in the 'down' position by opening flap - 8 - fully.
- Remove screws - 2 - (2x).
- Remove screw - 12 - from rear mount for partition grill - 10 -.
- Remove trim plate for seat belt Fig. 2.
- Remove screw - 14 -.
- Unclip D-pillar trim - 11 - from C-pillar trim
- Carefully pull away D-pillar trim - 11 -.
- Unclip C-pillar trim - 1 -, working from the top downward.







Installing
- Push C-pillar trim in behind D-pillar trim.
- Insert clips - 13 - on trim - 1 - into mounts.
- Clip trim - 1 - into place.
- Remainder of installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.

2 - Screws (2x)
- Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (22 in lb)
3 - Screw (1x)
-T Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in lb)
4 - Screw (1x)
- Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (22 in lb)
5 - Coat hook
6 - Front mount for partition grill
7 - Roof grab handle
8 - Flap for roof grab handle
9 - Groove







10 - Rear mount for partition grill
11 - D-pillar trim
12 - Screw (1x)
- Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in lb)
13 - Clip
14 - Screw (1x)
- Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (22 in lb)

- Remove bolt - 4 - at base frame.
Tightening torque: 55 Nm (41 ft lb)
- Compress trim piece - 2 - at cut-out below seat belt, and pry out trim piece - 2 - with a screwdriver.
- After removing C-pillar trim - 1 -, guide belt - 3 - out through C-pillar trim - 1 -.

- Using a screwdriver, pry out retaining tabs - 2 - (2x).
- Pull out seat belt trim piece - 1 - in direction of arrow.
- Guide seat belt out through trim piece - 1 -.
