Denso Compressor, Removing From Bracket/Installing (8 Cyl)
NOTES:
- Compressor bracket from engine.
- Do not discharge the A/C system. The compressor can be removed without opening refrigerant lines.

Removing
- Release tension on ribbed V-belt.
- Remove screws -A- and -B-.
NOTE: Do not discharge A/C system. The compressor can be removed without opening refrigerant lines.
In this vehicle, the high pressure line is connected on the left-side of the condenser. Therefore, note the following:
- After removing, fasten compressor on left long member. Do not let it hang on refrigerant line.
- To remove engine, after removing lock mount, fasten compressor together with condenser on right longmember.
Installing
- When installing compressor, ensure centering bushings -C- are properly seated.
- Tighten bolts -A- and -B- to 25 Nm (18 ft. lb).
