Headlamp Alignment Actuator: Service and Repair

NOTE: If the headlight beam adjusting motors are removed and installed, readjust the headlights. Adjustments

Removing
- For right headlight, remove rear part of air intake duct.
- Remove cover for headlight housing.





- Release right headlight beam adjusting motor (-V49-) -1- by turning it clockwise, counterclockwise for left headlight beam adjusting motor (-V48-).
- Release ball joint for right headlight beam adjusting motor rod by pushing to left (for left headlight beam adjusting motor, push to right).
- Disconnect electrical connector -2-.


Installing
- Connect electrical connector -2-.
- Push in ball of adjustment rod into ball joint at reflector.
- Secure adjusting motor by turning it into position.
