Sender For Fuel Gauge -G-, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Removing fuel pump delivery module.

NOTE: If the fuel pump delivery module is only removed to remove the sender for fuel gauge -G-, the fuel return line and distributor connector do not need to be disconnected. Place fuel pump delivery module beside tank opening.







- Remove sender from accumulator by pressing down on releases -arrows-.

NOTE: For better illustration purpose the accumulator is shown without fuel tank.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal, however note the following:







- Insert sender for fuel gauge into guide of outside of accumulator and press down until stop -arrow-.
- Install fuel pump delivery module and observe Note and procedures regarding reconnecting battery.

Finishing steps:
- Fill vehicle with fuel.
- Checking entire resistance of sender for fuel gauge.
- Specification: approximately 270 Ohm (Tank full)
