Compressor, removing and installing
Removing
1 - Flange nut
Tightening torque: 10 Nm





2 - Shielding piece
3 - Securing piece
4 - Flange bolt
Tightening torque: 23 Nm
5 - Compressor unit
6 - Flange nut
Tightening torque: 23 Nm
7 - Spiral spring
8 - Damper element
Tightening torque of nut: 6 Nm
^ Perform a system ventilation.
^ Remove stabilizer.
^ Loosen flange nut for shielding piece.
^ Loosen hose at shielding piece.
^ Remove shielding piece.





^ Loosen hose -1- and connector -2- at compressor.
^ Loosen flange nuts.

Note: Nuts at damper element must not be loosened!

^ Remove compressor unit.

Installing
^ Secure compressor element with flange nuts.
Tightening torque: 23 Nm





^ Secure hose -1- at compressor unit.
Tightening torque: 2 Nm
^ Connect connector -2- at compressor unit.
^ Secure shielding piece.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Notes:
^ Curved plastic exhaust blow-off line at compressor must not contact shielding piece when installing.
^ Lower part of compressor and blow-off valve must not contact shielding piece at insulation material.
^ Corrugated tube hoses with electrical wires and intake or brow-off hose of compressor must not contact insulation material of spare wheel cavity.
^ Electrical wire for blow-off valve must not be pulled tight.
^ Free swinging of the compressor must be ensured.

^ Tighten hose at shielding piece.
^ Install stabilizer.
