Diagnostic Trouble Codes 00526 / P0703 and 17087 / P0703 - 5 Spd. Automatic Transmission 01V





1) Pay attention to which hydraulic control the transmission has when selecting measuring value block.

Note for DTC 00526 / P0703:

^ This malfunction is pre-set when the ignition is switched on and then cancelled when the brake pedal is pressed for the first time, provided that the brake light switch -F- is OK
^ Before checking DTC memory, press the brake pedal briefly to cancel the pre-set malfunction.

Note for DTC 17087 / P0703:

^ The signal from brake light switch -F- is transmitted by the Engine Control Module (ECM) to the Transmission Control Module (TCM) via the CAN-Bus wire.
^ Conditions for malfunction recognition- The signals of the brake light switch and of the brake test switch are transmitted via the CAN-Bus wire to the TCM and evaluated from there. In case of implausibility this DTC appears in the TCM.
