Adaptation (Scan Tool Function 10)

The navigation system uses the speed signal from speedometer (GALA) for calculating mileage.

Using the adaptation function, the following changes can be made and saved.
- Changing tire size
- Changing pulse number per wheel rotation (GALA)
- Locking i.e. switching free production diagnostic
- Connection of related i.e. external speakers
- Changing country selection

Individual functions are called up by entering the appropriate adaptation channel numbers (listed in the adaptation table).

Adaptation table:

Adaptation channel Adaptation function
01 Tire circumference in mm
02 Pulse number per wheel rotation (GALA)
03 Production diagnostic (function status register) locking i.e. switching free
04 Connection of related, i.e. external speakers
05 Country selection
