Front Center Console, Removing And Installing







1 - Bolt (4x)
- 5 Nm (44 in.lb)
2 - Center console, front

Removing:
- Remove rear center console.

- Removing trim piece for instrument panel center piece Fig. 2.

- Unbolt heating control from instrument panel center piece Fig. 1.
- Unclip cover- 3 -.
- Remove nut - 4 -.
- Remove bolts - 1 - (4x).
- Detach center console at position - A -, pull rearward and remove.

Installing:
- When installing, center console must be inserted into clip - 5 -.
3 - Cover
4 - Nut
- 3.5 Nm (31 in.lb)
5 - Mounting clip

- Remove bolts - 2 - (4x).
Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in.lb)

- For vehicles with automatic climate control, remove screws - 4 - (2x).
Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (31 in.lb)

- For vehicles without automatic climate control, remove screws - 6 - (4x).
Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in.lb)

- Unhook upper part instrument panel center piece - 1 - from both guides, move forward slightly and undo electrical wiring.
- Only unclip storage tray - 3 -.

- Remove radio.
- For vehicles without automatic climate control, pull off knobs - 3 - for heating control (3x) and remove bolts - 4 - (2x).
Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (31 in.lb)
- Remove bolts - 2 - (4x).
Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in.lb)
- Unclip trim - 1 -.
