Control Module For Navigation With CD Mechanism -J401-, Removing And Installing (Avant)







The control module for navigation with CD-mechanism -J401- is located in the left rear of the luggage compartment.
- Open the left storage bin of luggage compartment.
- Unscrew the mounting screws of the carrier (arrows).
- Disconnect harness connectors on back of control module and completely remove carrier -4-.
- When disconnecting harness connectors, unscrew both mounting screws (arrows) on left and right of control module for navigation with CD-mechanism -J401-, and remove it from the carrier -4-.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Never use bolts other than the original equipment bolts to secure the control module otherwise the control module may be damaged.

Notes for installation:
- The control module for navigation and the carrier must be installed together horizontally and free from vibration to avoid operational problems.
- There must also be sufficient air circulation; the ventilation slots of the control module must not be covered when installed.
