General (Wiring Harness and Connectors)

Standard automotive cables may be used for wiring harness repairs.

When running cables/wires through metal, special grommets from replacement part catalog must be used.

Use only tin coated Ground (GND) eyelets from the replacement part catalog for securing Ground (GND) eyelets.







Corroded Ground (GND) pads -1- can be milled off as long as the minimum thread length -a- is maintained: a = 2.5 x external bolt diameter

Tightening torque for Ground (GND) securing bolts
