Clutch system, bleeding
Special tools and workshop equipment required





- V.A.G. 1869 Brake filling and bleeding unit

Notes: Before bleeding the clutch system, pull up and support clutch pedal and top up brake fluid reservoir to "Max" marking with brake fluid.

- Brake fluid specifications.
- If necessary, use bleeder hose V.A.G 1 238/B 3 (670 mm long) to bleed the system.
- Connect bleeder hose to brake bleeding appliance collector bottle pressure hose.





- Connect bleeder hose to slave cylinder - B - and open bleed valve.
- Depress clutch pedal several times after completion of bleeding process.
- Bleed system again if necessary.
