Rear Bumper, Removing, Installing And Assembly Overview
1 - Cross-member
- Remove trim - 7 -.
- To remove, unscrew hexagon nuts - 2 - and take off cross-member toward the rear.
2 - Hexagon nuts
- 23 Nm
3 - Speed nuts
- Qty: 2
4 - Left trim strip
- To remove, unclip upward
5 - Right trim strip
- To remove, unclip upward
6 - Torx screw
- 1.5 Nm
7 - Trim
Removing:
- Remove rear wheels.
- Remove rear wheelhousing liners.
- Open rear lid.
- Unclip left and right trim strips - 5 - and - 4 -.
- Unscrew Torx screws - 6 - and - 8 -.
- Loosen hexagon nuts - 10 - in each wheel housing.
- Also loosen side bolts securing guide pieces and press guide pieces - 11 - slightly downward on both sides.
CAUTION: If guide piece is not loosened, trim will not disengage from retainers, which could result in damage to paintwork.
- Disengage trim from guide pieces at the sides.
- Detach trim from vehicle toward the rear.
8 - Torx screw
- 1.5 Nm
9 - Bottom trim
10 - Hexagon nut
11 - Guide piece
- To remove, unscrew nuts - 10 - and side bolts and detach guide piece sideways.
- To enable trim - 7 - to engage when installing, guide piece must first be secured with nuts - 10 -.
- Then fasten guide piece with side bolts.

- It is not necessary to remove trim - 1 - before removing bottom trim - 2 -.
- Pry out clips - 3 - to remove.
- Remove screws - 4 - and detach trim - 2 -.
