Cause 1

(All TT models)

- Perform "Basic setting for window regulator motor, clearing" (see AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Repair Group 64, Glass, Window regulators, Door window, removing and installing).

With Basic setting cleared:

- Perform "Basic setting for window regulator motor, activating" (see AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Repair Group 64, Glass, Window regulators, Door window, removing and installing).

Note:
^ During procedure, doors must be closed and engine operating at idle.

^ The door window glass must contact upper door frame/(folding top) seal for window motor to "learn" the additional resistance.

With Basic setting activated:

- Check that condition has been eliminated, verify all window functions.

- Check and clear any stored DTCs.

If condition remains:

- Verify power window components i.e. window channel / guide, window lifter (regulator), window seals are aligned, adjusted and properly secured.

When diagnosis leads to adjustments and / or replacement of door / window components:

- Refer to AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Front doors, Central locking system, and subsequent sections for information.

After adjusting and / or replacing components

- Perform "Basic setting for window regulator motor, clearing" again, (see AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Repair Group 64, Glass, Window regulators, Door window, removing and installing).

With Basic setting cleared:

- Perform "Basic setting for window regulator motor, activating" again, (see AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Repair Group 64, Glass, Window regulators, Door window, removing and installing).

Note:
