Door/Window Components Replacing & After Adjusting/Replacing

(TT Coupe only between VIN: 8N11046716 and 8N11048543)

Note:

Perform removal, installation and adjustment procedures described in AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Repair Group 64, Glass, Window regulators, Door window, removing and installing, and its subsequent sections.





Note:
^ Components require fastener installation in the numbered sequence (left side as shown)

^ Right side installation similar to left.

After adjusting and / or replacing components

- Perform "Basic setting for window regulator motor, clearing" again, (see AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Repair Group 64, Glass, Window regulators, Door window, removing and installing).

Note:
^ During procedure, doors must be closed and engine operating at idle.

^ The door window glass must contact upper door frame / (folding top) seal for window motor to "learn" the additional resistance.

With Basic setting cleared:

- Perform "Basic setting for window regulator motor, activating" again, (see AESIS Repair Manual, Body Exterior; Repair Group 64, Glass, Window regulators, Door window, removing and installing).

With Basic setting activated:

- Check that condition has been eliminated, verify all window functions.

- Check and clear any stored DTCs.





When procedure applies to vehicles within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, use the table as shown.
