Door Handle And Lock, Assembly Overview







1 - Door lock
- Remove door trim.

- Door lock can be removed without removing subframe
- Removing
2 - Cable
- Lock release
3 - Bearing bracket
Removing:
- Door handle and lock cylinder housing are removed
- Unscrew Phillips-head screw - 4 -, slide bearing bracket slightly to rear and take out of door.
4 - Phillips-head screw
- 4.5 Nm
5 - Door handle with base
- Removing and installing
6 - Cover trim
- Can be clipped on with lock cylinder installed
7 - Lock cylinder housing
- Lock cylinder not supplied separately as a replacement part
8 - Backing
9 - Multi-point socket head bolt
- Socket insert T 10011
- Loosening this bolt releases the lock cylinder housing - 7 -, it can then be pulled out of bearing bracket -3-
- Bolt - 9 - must not be screwed in without lock cylinder housing in position. Otherwise the locking ring may fall into the door
10 - Multi-point socket head bolt
- 20 Nm
