ABS/ESP ITT Mark 20



Exploded view






1. Self-locking hex nut, 20 Nm
- Self-locking
- Replace each time after removing

2. Bracket

3. Set bolt, 8 Nm

4. Cap nut, 20 Nm

5. ABS hydraulic unit -N55-
- Installed position: in engine compartment, left side
- Connecting brake lines => Fig. 2

6. Brake line
- Master brake cylinder/secondary piston circuit to hydraulic unit

7. Brake line
- Brake master cylinder/primary piston circuit to hydraulic control unit

8. ABS Control Module (w/EDL) -J104-
- Installed position: in engine compartment, left side
- The control module is bolted to the hydraulic unit

9. Connection for brake line
- Hydraulic control unit to left front brake caliper

10. Connection for brake line
- Hydraulic control unit to right rear brake caliper

11. Connection for brake line
- Hydraulic control unit to left rear brake caliper

12. Connection for brake line
- Hydraulic control unit to right front brake caliper

WARNING!
Interchanging these connections will cause malfunctions in the ESP system.


- After connecting brake lines to hydraulic unit, perform final control diagnosis.

Note: Final control diagnosis can be used to establish whether line connections have been interchanged.
