Power steering fluid reservoir, assembly overview





1 - Fluid reservoir with screw cap
- Open cap with e.g. a bar
- Check fluid level via dipstick in screw cap with engine warm but not running
- Screw in and remove cap to check fluid level
2 - Return pipe
- Longitudinal marks - A - must line up
- Fit spring clip no further than transverse mark - B - on hose
3 - Spring clip
- Use special tool V/131 to open and close
- Clamping lugs must be at the top
4 - Suction hose
- Longitudinal marks - A - must line up
- Fit spring clip no further than transverse mark - B - on hose
5 - Combination bolt
- Tighten to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
