Rear door lock and operating mechanisms, removing and installing







1 - Bolts (2x)
- 9.5 Nm (84 in. lb)
2 - Intermediate plate for lock
3 - Door lock
Removing:
- Remove door component carrier.
- Unclip Bowden cable -4- for interior door operation.
- Unclip line for central locking system.
- Unclip operating rods.
- Remove screws -1-, pull lock towards car interior and out.

Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal.

4 - Bowden cable for interior door mechanism
Removing:
- Remove door component carrier.
- Unhook Bowden cable (Bowden cable shown in inset is unhooked), unclip downwards and disengage from door lock.

Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal.
