Equipment
- DTC memory is designed for permanent memory and is therefore not dependent on voltage supply.
- Data is transmitted between the A/C control head -E87- and the VAS 5051 tester, V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool (ST) or V.A.G 1552 system tester via operating mode "Rapid Data Transfer".

Function
The AC control head -E87- is a equipped with a DTC memory.

After evaluation, the A/C control head -E87- differentiates between different malfunctions; see DTC table and saves those malfunctions until DTC memory is erased. About Trouble Codes
