Replacing Stone Shield With Tie Rod Installed

Replacing stone shield with tie rod installed

Removing
- Using a knife, cut stone shield open in vicinity of bolts securing it to trapezoidal link. Take care not to damage tie rod.





- Loosen bolts -2-.
- Push clamps -1- inward.
- Unclip stone shield from tie rod.

Installing





- Make cuts in top of new stone shield -A-.
- Push clamps -1- inward.
- Clip stone shield onto tie rod.
- Push clamps -1- outward and tighten bolts -2- to 5 Nm.
